Earlier this year, the Caledon Hawks Atom A team had the privilege of being involved in a camp run by Hockey Canada.  At the end of the camp the team was given the opportunity to sign a banner that would be presented to the 2010 Men’s Olympic Hockey team.  It will travel to Vancouver and hang in the dressing room of Team Canada as a reminder of Caledon’s support. 

As Olympic fever has started to take hold throughout the country, the Hawks were informed that Darryl Boynton, director of Hockey Canada, was able to present the flag to team member Mike Richards. The captain of the Philadelphia Flyers and member of Team Canada proudly accepted the banner on behalf of the Olympic team.
