Lynda Whitten is Remax digger
Lynda Whitten was hampered by injuries in the early going this season in the Caledon Women’s Hockey League. The veteran Remax West forward, who is one of the league’s original members as it heads into the second decade, was the digger on three of its four goals and they doubled second place Bolton Motor Products 4-2.
Golden Hawks set for playoffs

Caledon Coyotes Atom girls hockey reach finals
The 35th Annual Huntsville Girls Hockey Tournament was held this year on the weekend of January 13 to 15. For many of the young atom aged girls this was their first away tournament. The excitement was evident on the players faces as they all signed in at the Canada Summit Centre on Friday morning.
Caledon Coyotes split
It was a busy week in the Atom division of the Caledon Coyotes Girls House League Hockey. Cairns Roofing Coyotes and the Complete Autotek Coyotes played back to back games on Tuesday night and Sunday afternoon this past week.

Bolton Fair Coyotes go undefeated but fail to advance in Huntsville
It’s not often that an undefeated record isn’t good enough to advance to the finals, but such was the fate of the Bolton Fair Coyotes at the annual Huntsville Girls Hockey Association tournament. After a dismal tournament last year, the Coyotes headed north to improve upon their own performance, and left Muskoka with a winning record, but disappointment with the tournament organizers.

Lauer leads Golden Hawks to victory over Cougars
The Caledon Golden Hawks have claimed two wins in five starts in the Georgian-Mid Ontario Junior C. Hockey League in 2012. The wins came on Jan. 6 at home when they edged the Schomberg Cougars 3-1. The second win was an 8-2 drubbing of the Fergus Devils.
